Earlier today (8/5/2013) there was a single Black-tailed Native Hen at the western pond of the Helidon Mineral Spa. It appears as though it may be an immature.

Michael

A great record and as far as I know only the forth within our survey area but Pat can correct me if I'm wrong.

The only local records I have were on 29/11/1982 & 9/11/2002. Both were at Helidon and just the one bird each time.

Cheers,
Mick
